Because We Are Muslims by Hanis

the article was about during Amirul Mu'minin Umar Al - Khattab's caliphate. there was a boy who had a traveling with his camel to Madinah.
Along his journey, he had to rest and sleep, while his camel goes grazing, unfortunately, in another fellas land.
That fella turns out to be an old man who wasn't that happy. The old man throw a stone to the camel, causing it to be injured and die.
As the boy wakes up, seeing his camel in that condition, he became too angry and upset, throwing the stone back to the old man. The old man bleeds and died due to it.
The boy was uncomfortable with his action and waited at the spot until 2 men appeared, the 2 men turns out to be the sons of the old man. They too weren't happy and thus, brought the boy to see the Caliph, which was Umar Al-Khattab.
During the proceeding, Umar(ra) asked the boy whether he did or did not kill the old man. The boy confessed, however, he was sorry as it wasn't his intention, but was out of rage. However, the boy still had to be punished by Qisas, blood with blood.

The Pirate of Sillicon Valley

The film opens with the creation of the 1984 commercial for Apple Computer, which introduced the first Macintosh.[2] Steve Jobs (Noah Wyle) is speaking with director Ridley Scott (J. G. Hertzler), trying to convey his idea that "We're creating a completely new consciousness." Scott, however, is more concerned at the moment with the technical aspects of the commercial.
As Jobs, who has returned to Apple, is announcing a new deal with Microsoft at the 1997 Macworld Expo. His partner, Steve Wozniak (Joey Slotnick), is introduced as one of the two central narrators of the story. Wozniak notes to the audience the resemblance between "Big Brother" and the image of Bill Gates (Anthony Hall)
The first flashback of the film takes place on the U.C. Berkeley campus during the period of the early seventies student movements. Jobs and Wozniak are shown caught on the campus during a riot between students and police. They flee and after finding safety, Jobs states to Wozniak, "Those guys think they're revolutionaries. They're not revolutionaries, we are." Wozniak then comments that "Steve was never like you or me. He always saw things differently. Even when I was in Berkeley, I would see something and just see kilobytes or circuit boards while he'd see karma or the meaning of the universe."
Using a similar structure, the film next turns to a young Bill Gates at Harvard University, in the early 1970s, with classmate Steve Ballmer (John DiMaggio), and Gates’ high school friend Paul Allen (Josh Hopkins). As with Wozniak in the earlier segment, Ballmer narrates Gates' story, particularly the moment when Gates discovers the existence of Ed Roberts' (Gailard Sartain) MITS Altair (causing him to drop out of Harvard). Gates' and Allen's early work with MITS is juxtaposed against the involvement of Jobs and Wozniak with the Homebrew Computer Club, eventually leading to the development of the Apple I in 1976 with the help of angel investor Mike Markkula (Jeffrey Nordling). The story follows the protagonists as they develop their technology and their businesses. At a San Francisco computer fair where the Apple II computer is introduced, Gates (the then-unknown Microsoft CEO), attempts to introduce himself to Jobs, who snubs him. This is followed by the development of the IBM-PC with the help of Gates and Microsoft in 1981.
It also follows Jobs' relationship with his high school girlfriend (Gema Zamprogna) and the difficulties he had acknowledging the birth and existence of their daughter, Lisa. Around the time his daughter was born, Jobs unveiled his next computer, which he named, The Lisa. The Lisa was then followed in 1984 by the Macintosh, a computer inspired by the Xerox Alto. The main body of the film finally concludes with a birthday toast in 1985 to Steve Jobs shortly before he was fired by CEO John Sculley (Allan Royal) from Apple Computer.
It also includes a brief epilogue, noting what happened afterward in the lives of Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. The movie ends with Steve Jobs returning to Apple after its acquisition of NeXT Computer, and Bill Gates appearing live via satellite at a MacWorld Expo in 1997, during Jobs' first Stevenote keynote address, to announce an alliance between Apple and Microsoft.

MEN AND WOMEN MERELY ARE PLAYERS BY ROBERT GREENE

The article was wrote by Robert Greene. He is also a writer for the 48 Laws of Power.
He is a great author. He able to brief his state towards people who enjoy power in their life. People who are into power will become anything. He is not bother about anything else as long as he gain the power. The first and foremost is by gaining trust from people. He wore a ''good'' mask and seek people attention. No matter how hard he try to pretend in the end it will burst and people will know the truth.

There are many examples that I can give you. Just a simple one.
During election for MPP in your University or College. Each candidates will have their own strategy to gain votes from voters. Maybe they were differ before, but just in a blink of an eyes, they were changed. Well, humans are merely pretenders. That's the real thing. No matter how good people is, there will be some sort of bad attitude in them. Humans are not angel. So bad things are everywhere.

ALL THE COOL KIDS ARE QUITTING FACEBOOK

This article written by Jenna Wortham. She is a technology reporter from New York Times.
This article is about why in certain country facebook has become a new technology or new social networking whereas in States where facebook is born still does not have the higher acceptation from society.

Certain people have different assumption regarding facebook. For certain people who involved with facebook claim that facebook gives more benefit than disadvantages. But for author, she claim that facebook brings more harmful than benefit. As a reader, I disagree with the author.

My first argumentation is facebook can ties the lost relationship. For example, for people who study abroad, live far from their relatives, they will make sure the bond still connected. In order to stay connected they must sign in with facebook. Even they did not seeing each other, but the relationship still remain ties. No matter how awkward if they meet each other, but sooner or later they will can catch up the rhythm. They can put some effort to make the environment alive.

My second argument is facebook is related to their owner. As long as the owner how to prevent from virus or hackers, their privacy remain safe. Before signing up facebook bear in mind that hackers and other viruses such as worms and backdoors are everywhere. So make sure you always updating your password. Change password trice a week so that hackers cannot get through your account. So, for safety, it is not an excuse why people should banned facebook.

For instance it is about mentality. When people have bad perception about others it will turn bad. So, we have to see things in positive rather than in negative. :)

THE PIANIST

Hello readers! This is my third entry. Entitle 'The Pianist'. By the way today Ill make a lil bit differ. I am reviewing regarding a film.

This film is quite interesting. The movie is adaptation from another movie entitle 'Le Pianiste' it is a French movie. The movie is come out 10 years ago. It received many multiple awards and nominations. I'll be glad to tell you that this movie is superb. As a teenage, it makes me wonder and thankful that I was born in the such a peaceful country. That's true. After watching the movie I feel like ' Whoa! Thanks Allah for giving me opportunity live in this peaceful country.' I also pray for our ancestors.

THE PLOT OF THE MOVIE.

The background of the movie is before and during World War II (WW2). The main character for this movie is Władysław Szpilman he is a famous Polish Jewish pianist. He is worked for Warsaw radio. He played piano really nice. People are amazed with his talent. But, not long after that, on 1st September 1939 Britain and France have declared war on Germany army. He and his family could not believe in that until there are few argumentation happen.

This story really is good especially for teenage audiences. They make us realize that peaceful really needed in order to get happier life. Not only happier life but also to get better paid for future. We should be grateful as our ancestor willing in sacrificing their lives in order to protect our country. We as the younger generation, we have to keep their sacrifices.

Think deeply and be grateful.

FICKLE FRIENDS

From my point of view, 'FRIENDSHIP' consists of two words which is Friend and Ship. So, to make it clear. The clear definition of Friendship is  'Friend' is an attached person by another. He/ She might be the closest person with you. You shared almost same behavior. You understand towards each other feeling. Whereas, 'Ship' can be classified as this is according to Dictionary. com  it is a vessel, especially a large oceangoing one propelled by sails or engines.

Have you ever experienced your friends cancelling his/her promise in sudden? What are your feeling during that moment? At the beginning, you already planned about thing, than in sudden it was cancelled. I bet all of you must be feeling really angry right? Well, it is ordinary behavior in friendship. But, it leaved scars in our heart. And, in sudden, person who is your friend before ( do not confuse with friend and best friend. ) become your frenemies. And what is the frenemies about? Frenemies is a combine word Friend + Enemy = Frenemies. Do you have any idea regarding Frenemies? And why it is called Frenemies?
Let me tell you, in order not to hurt your friends feeling, you have become a hypocrite person. Why? Because, you are letting those person to do what ever he/ she wants , where you have to pretend that you don't upset with their attitude. Lets look around us. Some people have many friends but in real life they are alone. Some people do not have mush friends, but they are happy. Why is this happening? This contribute to many factors. First of all is, the person is not sincere with the relationship that bound among their friends. They do not have much time to interact with each other, and others might feel that they be friends with him because of hidden agenda. This is usually happens in our society. They tend to be very kind towards a person that they have targeted to be their next slave ( people that be used for their granted) . Talking about attitude and behavior, we have seen many of it. It's up to ourselves to bother it or not. Enough talking about the frenemies. Let's move on how to handle a situation with your frenemies.

They are a few ways that I can suggested to you. First, you keep up the good relationship with your frenemies. Treat them nicely. As it can reduce your depression and help you to control your anger. Secondly, talk to them nicely, or just let it be. Do not great them in a while. Let them know what have they done to you. There are many ways that you practice but the most important thing is you must know how to control your anger. Yes, it is true that frenemies are problematic. But give them a chance to change into a new leave. Who know, they might be your real friends in your future. I remembered that this person used to give me an advice. She said that " You never be a good friends with that person, if you don't fight with him / her " . As long as you know how to handle the situation , then you can be the hero of the day.

Just remember, that nobody is perfect. Before we judged people, we have to judged ourselves first. And, do not hate others. Even our Prophet forbid us to hate people.

Thanks for reading guys.

The Degree of Happiness By Betrand Russell

The degree of happiness. This article was written by Betrand Russell. He was a British philosopher, Mathematician and also Nobel laureate. By looking at his background education, one can assume that his article based on educational sector right? It also same with the writer. By reading at the heading of this article, first thing that pop up in her mind was 'Oh! This article regarding education. This must be tough though.' Well, it is wrong. One cannot do their first assumption by looking at the heading. People have to read the whole points that included in the article besides, the picture included also eye-catching.

As we know, happiness is a feeling, where it is probably balance of pains and pleasures, fortunes and misfortunes , success and failure, love and hatred , hope and worries. In other words, it is the average perception of all "good" perception and plus with "bad" perception. It seems that people have the different degree of happiness in their lifespans. Some people may see that poverty as their happiness, some may see it vice verse. This situation kinda different toward different people. So, that's why people cannot assume anything from others situation. It may be differ from our thoughts. One that we have to do is to ask them. For example, the poverty in Somalia. Before accuse anything to their government, make sure to know the real situation or else others will misunderstood.

Here, the writer also included some picture in order to readers understand the writer stand about happiness. Actually, people cannot measure about happiness but people can feel it.

Thus, the ancient conception of happiness is "a socially justified state of contentment" while the modern conception of happiness is "personally justified state of contentment."  According to Webster, a burglar celebrating his success in a bar with his friends is happy; but according to Aristotle that burglar cannot be happy, since happiness is relevant for rational beings, and a rational being cannot be happy with burglary. A celebrating burglar is a grazing animal
